Abstract

What a year! A year of corona, crisis, and challenges. But also a year of innovations, break - throughs, and opportunities. I am one to focus on silver linings and here are some to think about.

I am immensely proud of being part of an industry that stepped up to the challenge to innovate and accelerate development, testing, and approval of COVID-19 treatments and vaccines at warp speed. In parallel, we did not stop the other work we were doing. The pharma industry continued to serve other patients in need of essential medicines and medical devices
